Abstract

This paper introduces the present situation of the preservation and protection of ancient books,expounds the opinions of ancient and modem scholars on the preservation and protection of ancient books,compares ancient and modern ways and methods for protecting the ancient books,and reveals the historical continuity,variability and importance of the preservation and protection of ancient books,which provide the reference for doing well the protection of ancient books.
