Abstract
Aiming at the shortages of two-stage matrix converter( TSMC),which are more difficult to achieve in narrow-pulse by four-step commutation and wide-pulse for zero current commutation strategy because of combination of rectifier and inverter strictly. A hybrid commutation strategy was proposed. All pulse were divided into wide and narrow pulse,four-step commutation strategy was used for wide-pulse,and zero current commutation was employed in narrow-pulse. An achievement method for zero current commutation was proposed to solve difficult achievement, which adjust inverter modulation signal according to duty ratio of rectifier stage. Finally A experimental prototype was built, and the experimental results indicate that TSMC not only owns the excellent input and output-performance,but also reduces overcurrent/over-voltage caused by before factors, thus the system reliability is improved.
