Spatial- temporal Analysis of Tourism Efficiency and Its Evolution of China in the Recent 10- year

The tourism efficiency was the key reference to evaluate the regional tourism market. This paper analyzed the spatial- temporal tourism efficiency and its evolution of the 30 provinces during the 10- year period. The time series panel data reflected the local investment and the benefit were chosen to evaluate the regional tourism efficiency. From the heterogeneity comparison of the efficiency indices and the efficiency evolution indices,this paper analyzed the spatial and temporal differences about the regional tourism efficiency and the tourism efficiency evolution in the three scale levels of national scale,regional scale and local scale. The results showed that the overall level of the national tourism efficiency was not very high while the southeast China and the south China had the higher level of efficiency. From the overview of the gravity transfer,we found that the differences between each period was not obvious except for 2003- 2004 and 2008- 2009.
