Abstract
The multi-step hydroforming process composed of axial feeding and hydraulic pressure bulging was put forward for the ring shaped part with small feature size, complex figure and thin wall. The numerical simulation model was built by general finite element analysis software-ABAQUS.Simulation about the hydroforming process of complex ring shaped part was implemented based on the numerical modes above. Then the influences of liquid pressure loading curve, the mould friction coefficient, the space between the mould parts, and some other conditions on the formability were analyzed. The results show that the space and the liquid pressure are the main factors. The reasonable matching relation curve between space and pressure was given. This process is certified by experiment
