On the Primitive and Ecological Status of Yuefu Poems in Ancient China

The primitive and ecological status of Yuefu poems covers several features.Firstly,the multiple musical structures of Yuefu poems,including Jie,Ci,Sheng,Yan,Qu,Luan,Zhengqu,He and Song,etc.Such combinations and divisions are always seen in Yuefu poems,so the writing structure of Yuefu poems is different from poetry.Secondly,original Ci including folk Yuefu poems that were accepted into Yuefu and Yuefu poems written by poets.When the original Ci was sung by musician,it was called Yuezou Ci(music accompanied by musical instruments).Both of them vary in era and creator.Thirdly,Yuefu poems were limited by musicality.The comments on music and Yuefu poems shall be different.Fourthly,most of Yuefu poems have basic facts and prototypes,in search of which can make us learn more about Yuefu poems.
