Approaching Sustainable Forest Resources management on the Southern Collective Forest Area

The paper combined with forestry production in Southern Collective Forest Area,pointed out that the forest resource management in Southern Collective Forest Area has not broken away from the shadow of “industrious forestry”. At the time when the planning economy is transforming to socialist market economy,the goal and the objective of forest resource management and the main body of forest management and the external environment of social economy have changed fundamentally.Thus,the forest resource management in Southern Collective Forest Area should face the praxis and be accommodated with the fast change of the social economy, widen its knowledge field under the frame of sustainable development theory and syncretize the social science,policy art,and economics into the forest resource management.It should adopt integration method and the forest ecosystematic way to establish assessment,monitoring,and dynamic management system of the forest resource and the environment with the “3S” technology.
