Abstract

Objective:To study the risk factors and clinical features of fungal endophthalmitis intraocular surgery.Method:We analysed 981 cases(1021 eyes) with fungal endophthalmitis after intraocular surgery in our hospital from January 2005 to October 2010.Result:6 patients(6 eyes) infected fungal endophthalmitis after surgery, the occurrence rate was 0.058%.Conclusion:This group of patients with fungal endophthalmitis incidence is 0.058%,the rate of fungal endophthalmitis is higher after ocular injury,Vitrectomy combined with intraocular injection of antifungal agents is the most effective way for the treatment of fungal endophthalmitis.
