Research of Web TV Software System based on Embedded Linux

Abstract

This paper presents the background of Web TV and embedded Linux operating system in brief. It briefly introduces a complete hardware Structure of the Web TV system. It puts its emphasis on the design of the software system of Web TV based on embedded Linux. The software system mainly includes the developing environment, the start-up of the system, the customization of embedded Linux, the network driver of cable modem and the design of Web TV Browser.
