Abstract

After South Korea's recovery in 1945,its higher education,especially private higher education,has been developing rapidly,and has formed an educational system with Korean characteristics.Institutions of private higher education in Korea,usually of a large scale,enjoy the same legal position as state universities or public universities,and their teaching quality can compete with other universities.Private higher education has become an important of Korean higher education.
