The present status & prospect of phosphate & compound fertilizer industry in China

Quoting the data of national N,P K fertilization amounts, apparent consumption in 2002 and the posture in the past 5 years from the statistics of China’s Ministry of Agriculture, the marketing demand of compound fertilizer is discussed, also the productive status in 2002 and the last 9 months of 2003 is presented. So the total phosphate fertilizer output in 2003 is deduced 9 million ton P_2O_5 and in 2004 9.5 million ton P_2O_5, meanwhile the development trend of China’s phosphate compound fertilizer industry is also predicted.
