Yu Qian and his poems in enslaved literature context in early Ming Dynasty

In early Ming Dynasty the field of ideology and culture was ruled despotically, and the intellectuals under the high-handed policies suffered persecution and humiliation in an unscrupulous way, which led to the loss of the subject spirit and independent character of the literature and scholars, and led the literature into enslavement. Yu Qian experienced the period when “Tai Ge Ti” almost monopolized the whole literary world and literature was being enslaved, but he could still resist the influence of the trend, and took up the traditional mission of literature to reflect the society, life, and true feelings in his own characteristic way in poem writing. Although the poems of Yu Qian did not bring the whole vigorous promotion to the literature of Ming Dynasty, he gave the tendency of enslaved literature a refutation sense and correcting value just like a strand of spring scenery bringing the hope of recovery to the exhausted wilds of literature in early Ming Dynasty.
