Abstract
Education equity is the foundation of social equity, stability, freedom and harmony. It is a significant strategic choice for a country and nation giving priority to develop equitable and. fair education. Also it is the inherent need to establish harmonious society. This paper analyzes the important matter and the development trend of international education reform, discusses the intrinsic meaning of education equity and harmonious society, as well as its relation, and proposes strategic thinking of promoting education equity and harmonious society.
