Abstract

The Book of Songs is the first collection of poems in pre-Qin period,and also is the the first archives compilation of art literature.The phoenomena and emtions present in this book have provided rich materias for us to study its cultural value and artistic connotation.This article is mainly about the comprehensive presentation of the historical materials on the Book of Songs and the study of folk culture in Western Zhou,and pointed out the necessity of studying the Book of Songs from the aspect of the folk.
