Abstract
To explore the clinical effects of Phacoemulsification and implantation of foldable intraocular lens through clear cornea incisiom. Methods Phacoemulsification and implantation of foldable intraocular lens were performed in 364 eyes through a 2. 8~3. 2mm clear cornea incision and a 0. 3~0. 6mm assistant incision at three or nine clock. Postoperatively visual acuity, cornea incision and fundus status of eyes were followed up. Results 1 day ,7 day , 1 month and 3 months postoperatively visual acuity were 0. 8 or better in 259 eyes (71. 20% ) ,275 eyes (75.43% ) ,279 eyes(76.52% ) and 285 eyes(78. 34% ) , respectively. Conclusion Phacoemulsification and implantation of foldable intraocular lens through clear cornea incisiom was fast, effective and less complicated method.
