Dongba Jump of Naxi Minority

Traditional sport of the Chinese minorities and folk dance are of long standing, well established and vigorously developed. They take root at the soil of traditional culture of nationalities. They have their strong nationality features and the rich flavor of life. The mass participates in them extensively. In this paper the Dongba jump, a sort of traditional sports dance was expounded. The customs and habits, the religious belief, the military affairs and battles, the productive labor as well as the love and marriage of the Naxi minority etc. were revealed. The indomitable spirit and limitless creativity of the Naxi people were extolled.
