With the ideologies in China becoming more diversified, a small number of people tend to be estranged themselves from the Party and government , which poses enormous risks to China's mainstream ideological security. Only by cultivating and living up to core socialist values, can the unity in thinking and goals be achieved, the enormous challenges faced by the mainstream ideology be addressed, and the common ideological foundations for the unity of the Party and people of China be consolidated.
