Abstract
The effect of H2O2 on contents of Na+ and Cl-in root, stem and leaf of cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.) cultivar 'Jinchun No.2' seedling in hydroponics was investigated. The results showed that under salt stress,Na+ content in all of organs increased,Cl-content in stem and leaf increased, and Na+ and Cl-accumulated mainly in stem.Compared with the seedling treated with salt stress only, for cucumber seedling treated with NaCl+H2O2,Na+ content in root,Cl-contents in root and stem all increased,Na+ and Cl-contents in leaf decreased, and seedling biomass increased,so foliar spraying H2O2 could alleviate damage of salt stress to cucumber seedling to a certain extent.
