Abstract

On the two kinds of parallel computer systems, the performance of distributed memory MPP system is better than that of shared memory one. But it is very difficult for the users to develop software on the former. The principle and implementing methods of forming logical shared memory system based on phfsical distributed momory system, that is, distributed shared memory system, are discussed in this paper.
