Abstract
Every society has its own core value system.The core value system of Socialism embodies the essence of Socialist Ideology.The core value system of Socialism is the driving force behind the realization of scientific development and social harmony.This paper consists of three parts,i.e.the historical background of the core value system of Socialism,the historical and contemporary interpretation of the content of the core value system of Socialism,and the theoretical and practical significance of doing a historical interpretation of the core value system of Socialism.
