Major Geological Problems and Control Measures of Huangjiadagou Riverside Recreation Zone Project in Badong County

The surface is rough in Badong County of Three Gorges Reservoir area and there occur many mountains and gullies along the river.Subject to the constraints of land for construction and the imperfection of infrastructure and supporting facilities,the development of tourism is limited.Huangjiadagou Riverside Recreation Zone Project is one part of tourism development plans in Badong County.This paper studies the major geological problems of the project,and proposes countermeasures so as to provide the practical reference for the gravel soil embankment of Badong County and other areas along the river.
