Abstract
Stress sensitivity experiments with different permeabilities and stress loading modes and volμmetric strain experiments were aiming to investigate permeability sensitivity to effective pressure in low permeability reservoirs. The results show that the permeability sensitivity in low permeability reservoirs is more serious than that in higher permeability reservoirs.Permeability reduction mainly occurs in the initial increase in effective pressure.Volμmetric strain in the stage of elastic plastic deformation is higher in low confining pressure.
