Abstract
64-QAM,as a highly efficient digital modulation method,is now widely used in various communication systems. The article first makes a theoretical study on the 64-QAM modulation /demodulation,then with the help of Optisystem simulation software, the simulation model of 64-QAM transmitter / receiver is constructed, and its receiver and transmitter modules are analyzed in detail. Finally, the transmission performance of the model is simulated and verified, and the simulation results indecate that the constellation of 64-QAM in receiver is clear, and the 64-QAM modulation format could effectively implement the transmission of data signals. The model could provide a theoretical guidance for the practical engineering design.
