Abstract
A borophosphate compound Li[NiBP2O8(H2O)2]·(H2O) was prepared by hydrothermal synthesis and characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The title compound to hexagonal system, space group P6522,a=0.933 59(3)nm,c=1.574 97(11),γ=120.00°,V= 1.188 82(10),Mr=320.44,Z=12,F(000)= 960,μ=2.91mm-1.The crystal structure of the compound contains infinite borophosphate ribbons1 ∞3-,built of comer sharing BO4 and PO4 tetrahedra. The ribbons are connected via NiO6 coordination octabedra, the central channel is filled by a helix made of water molecules. And the title compound is charactered by XRD,IR.
