RESEARCH ON THE ECONOMIC CENTERS IN UNDERDEVELOPED PROVINCE——A Case Study of Gansu Province

City Cities are is the core of a region.The region is the background from which cities form and develop.1) Choosing 18 index system from 86 counties in Gansu Province,using the SPSS software and the Principal Component Analysis method,the paper indicates: The county economical difference coupling with the economic centers well.2) Analyzed the economic center system existence question,point out the scale structure is not complete,function structure is irrational;spatial structure is influenced by the geographical environment,displays the obvious groups-axes structure..The city spatial distribution is consistent with the leading industry distribution pattern.3) The formation mechanism of economic center mainly originates from the industrialization,resources develops and invests.4)construct one core,one axis,and five city economic zones ,through strengthened core,cultivation key,forms the spatial network structure which the rank is distinct,the division of labor is reasonable,the development is coordinated,leads the entire province social economy comprehensive development.So to leads the entire province social economy comprehensive development.
