Criticism of Habermas' Communicative Action Theory

The crisis of modernity can be called in a sense the crisis of reason,which manifests the split of reason.Habermas' theory of communicative action aims to overcome this crisis.Since his ultimate goal is to prove the rationality of the world,he has to transcendentalize,formalize and idealize the theory.If his ideal communicative action does not exist in the real world and it's just a kind of theoretical construction,the rationality that he tries to prove only exists in the theory.
