Abstract
Due to the limitations of the logic thinking, which used to play an important role in the development of science and technology in the 20th century, people come to reconsider the meanings and the value of the traditional Chinese scientific thinking in the 21st century. The meanings and the value of the traditional thinking embody themselves in the ways of ontology, epistemology and methodology. To bring the traditional Chinese scientific thinking in the full play, it is necessary to pay great attention to the comparison and exchange of the Chinese and western scientific cultures, as well as the respective reforms of education, and the promotion of the scientific thinking method.
