Abstract
The solvent extraction process of gold(I) from alkaline solution with surfactant in aqueous phase by TBP is investigated. The effects of various factors, such as equilibrium pH,constitution of organic phase,CPB∶[Au(CN)2]-molar ration,aqueous/organic phase ratio,on the gold extraction are described. The gold(I) extraction rate is more than 98% by use of 30% TBP diluted by sulphonate kerosene,aqueous/organic phase ratio can be as high as 1∶11 in real experiment, the loading capacity of the organic phase is more than 14g/L.
