Abstract
Kaolinite-dodecylamine intercalation compound was synthesized by the polarity organic macromolecules dodecylamine intercalating kaolinite in the layer. The products were characterized with XRD,FT-IR,TG and DSC.The basal spacing of kaolinite-dodecylamine intercalation compound increased from 0.717 nm of kaolinite to 2.280 nm,and intercalation rate reached 70%.The hydrogen bonds were formed between dodecylamin NH and kaolinite Si-O.Kaolinite-dodecylamine intercalation compound was stable below 215 ℃.
