Abstract

An Avian Influenza Virus strain (GN9901) was isolated from the case of egg-fowls which showed respiratory symptom and whose egg output decreased severely. The virus strain can multiplied in the chicken-embryo, also can aggregated the erythrocytes of chicken, duck and human being, but can not be inhibited by the Newcastle Disease Virus(NDV) positive serum. The virus strain was identified Avian Influenza Virus A, the sub-serotypes of hemagglutinin(HA) and neuraminidase(NA) were not determined. And the strain had excellent immunogenicity.
