Abstract

According to seismic stratigraphy and the depositional models of marine carbonate rocks, the sedimentary facies of the Cambrian-Ordovician strata in the Tadong region is interpreted on the basis of sedimentary facies of single wells, seimic data,as well as drilling and surface outcrop data. The sedimentary facies in the region is of typical trisection units, which are western carbonate platform facies, eastern basin facies and slope facies of middle transition belts. The sedimentary model of the Cambrian-Ordovician strata in the region is set up by analyzing the sedimentary facies, sedimentary evolution, sedimentary systems,paleo-environment and planar assemblage of sedimentary facies.
