Abstract
Based on the thermal comfort PMV index and PPD index proposed by Fanger, numerical modeling was used to research indoor thermal comfort environment on three different air distributions in summer and winter.Experimental investigation on indoor thermal comfort was carried out on the typical conditions in the standard airflow room, then numerical simulation results were compared with experimental results. We find the form of low air inlet-up air outlet is the best one of three air distributions.Research results provide reference to optimization design in airflow distribution and improvement in indoor thermal comfort environment of air-conditioning room.
