Abstract

70 groups of soil and water samples were collected in March 4-5,2010 in the low plains of the Bohai Sea,the depth of soil is 0-60cm.Through testing the whole salt, eight ions and PH,we obtained the spatial characteristics of soil salinity under conditions of strong evaporation in the area, and analyzed the relevant factors. The results showed that soil salinity and shallow groundwater shows the negative linear correlation and the correlation coefficient is 0.7312;the relationship between the soil salinity and groundwater salinity can be fitted with exponential function and the coefficient of determination is 0.73-0.76.The relationship between the evaporation and soil salinity is linear correlation. The evaporation occupies 17.3% for the salt accumulation;in central and western regions of the shallow groundwater area, the relation between evaporation and salinity shows linear correlation and the correlation coefficient is 0.6035;Physical and chemical properties of the soil itself and the barrier effect of salt retention are equally important. With the shallow depth of groundwater from west to east is gradually becoming smaller, salinity gradually increases
