Study on Chemical Constitents of Rosin from Pinus Massoniana in Guangxi Province

[Objective] The rosin samples of Pinus massoniana that from different enterprises in Guangxi were analyzed,range of rosin acid of Pinus massoniana was given.[Method] The rosin samples after methyl ester of Pinus massoniana that from different enterprises in Guangxi were analyzed by GC analysis using QF-1capillary column.[Result] The results showed the resin acid content ranges of rosin in Guangxi: pimaric acid 7.28%-9.38%,sandaracopimaric acid 0.91%-3.59%,isopimaric acid 0.27%-1.97%,palustric acid 12.67%-36.55%,dehydroabietic acid 2.02%-5.25%,abietic acid 28.69%-63.06%,neoabietic acid 8.72%-22.94%.Range of pimaric acid at 6%-10%,sandaracopimaric acid at 1.0%-2.5%,isopimaric acid lower than 2.0% in rosin was regards for rosin of Pinus massoniana.[Conclusion] Quality of rosin related to rosin acid isomerism in rosin processing,rosin of Pinus massoniana was judged by ranges of rosin acid.
