Abstract
The feasibility of eco-city construction in Tai'an City was discussed based on the analysis of the characteristics of ecological environment in Tai'an City, and some suggestions were made: 1.to confirm a general frame of eco-city construction for Tai'an City through scientific planning and rational allocation; 2.to strengthen the planning and construction of greenbelt ecosystem and establish a basic support system for eco-city construction; 3.to protect the natural eco-environment and preserve biologic diversity; 4.to enhance the eco-environment management and improve the overall quality of the population of the city.
