Abstract
This paper presents a new 3D equilibrium analysis method to evaluate the stability of reinforced slope based on slip-shear failure model. Then the effect of anchor direction on the stability of slope is studied using this method. Finally, the stability of a 45 m high rock slope reinforced by anchors is analyzed using the 3D equilibrium analysis method. The calculated result shows that the reinforced rock slope is stable, which has been proved by the force monitoring data of the anchors installed in the slope.
