Abstract
To envelope the relationship of miRNAs and muscle growth in pig,the longissimus dorsi muscle were sampled from three indigenous pig breeds, including Nuogu pig,Guanling pig,Qiannan Black pig in 6months old, taking Yorkshire pig as the control. The expression levels of miR-1,miR-133,miR-206 were analyzed by real-time quantitative PCR detecting system(qPCR)with stem-loop primer for reverse transcription of miRNAs.The results showed that the expression level of miR-133was higher than both of miR-1and miR-206in the longissimus dorsi muscle of pigs.Further,miR-133level in Nuogu pig was 1.58 times higher than that in Yorkshire pig(P0.05).miR-133level was negatively correlated with the eye muscle area and abdominal fat weight, while positively correlated with the slaughter of Nuogu pig breed. miR-206level in Nuogu pig was 2.23times higher than that in Yorkshire pig(P0.05),and negatively correlated with the leanness, positively correlated with the leaf fat weight of Nuogu pig. However, the trends of miRNAs change in Guanling pig breed were much different from the others. The expression level of miR-133was the highest but miR-206level was the lowest in Guanling pig with 2.67times higher in miR-133.The levels in both of miR-133and miR-206were positively correlated with the eye muscle area and carcass weight of Guanling pig,and negatively correlated with abdominal fat weight, leaf fat weight and fat ratio.miR-133and miR-206in different pig breeds had differential expression, which regulated the body growth and fat deposition in indigenous pig breeds of Guizhou Province in certain degree.
