Abstract
BACKGROUND To probe into the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography for ureteral calculus.CASE REPORTS It was retrospectively analyzed that the data in 70 cases of ureteral calculus examined by color Doppler ultrasonography and confirmed by lithotrity or operation, and the results showed that 68 cases occurred in unilateral, including 37 cases in right side and 31 casesin left side, and 2 cases occurred in bilateral, and the size of calculus was from 3 mm×2 mm to 27 mm×14 mm,66 cases were solitary,4 cases were multiple, and 2 cases were misdiagnosed and the coincidence rate of diagnosis with color Doppler ultrasonography was 97.1%.DISCUSSION The color Doppler ultrasonography as effective supplement in general ultrasonic testing is considered ideal examinational method for diagnosing the ureteral calculus.
