Abstract

Pancreatic pseudocyst is a common complication of acute or chronic pancreatitis or pancreatic trauma.It commonly occurs in patients with chronic pancreatitis.Recently,with the development of CT,MRI,endoscopic ultrasonography and other imaging techniques,clinical doctors have got more comprehensive understanding of pseudocysts.In this paper,imaging appearances,pathogenesis and clinical management of pancreatic pseudocysts following chronic pancreatitis were reviewed.
