Abstract

Modal analysis is a basic method in the field of engineering vibration. In this paper, the vibration test bench for teaching is analyzed respectively by the experimental modal analysis method and finite element modal analysis method;again with harmonic excitation experiment for test, that is,giving the vibration test bench different frequency harmonic signals in order to arouse its various modes vibration.Based on the experimental results of the above three methods, modal parameters of the vibration test bench are determined by the comprehensive analysis. The finite element modal is verified by the results of experimental modal analysis and these results are verified by harmonic excitation experiment. The paper points out that this comprehensive analysis method can more reliablely determine the modal parameters of mechanical structures.
