Abstract

Reactive oxygen species(ROS) and autophagy have an extensive role in the human body.As a signaling molecule involved in various signaling pathways induced autophagy,ROS plays an important role in the autophagy. In this article we discussed the relationship between autophagy and ROS,as well as the latest research progress of ROS-mediated molecular mechanism underlying ROS-mediated autophagy. The roles of ROS-mediated autophagy in cancer, neurodegenerative diseases and aging are also included.
