Abstract

Objective:To discuss the values of Helicobacter pylori urease antibody test in detection of infection of Helicobacter pylori. Methods:Using combined detection results of histological staining test and rapid urease test as the gold standards,110 Helicobacter pylori urease antibodies from public place jobholders were analyzed and compared with the gold standards. Results:The diagnosis sensitivity, specificity, accuracy and the negative and positive predictive value of Helicobacter pylori urease antibody test were 94.6%,95.2%,94.8%,87.0% and 98.1% respectively. The total positive rate of Helicobacter pylori infection in public place jobholders was 38.2%,and there was no statistics difference in different genders, ages and vocations. Conclusion:The Helicobacter pylori urease antibody test can be used as a reliable and prompt method for diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection.
