Abstract
This paper mainly reviews the phenomena that the Upper Cave Men favor ornaments and red color and analyzes the totem worship on the costumes and tattoos,with an aim to explain that the thought of protecting the body and esteeming the life has long been in Chinese traditional culture and that the original Chinese costume culture has a close connection with life consciousness.
