On the Altruistic Behavior and Developing Methods

By altruistic behavior in psychology is meant the behavior without personal motivation,without expecting anything in return for helping others.From 1920s to 1930s,altruistic behavior has been one of the major subjects in economics,sociology,psychology and ethics.At present,the researchers propose genetic determinism,social exchange theory,social norms theory,empathetic altruism,such altruistic motivation theories explain altruism behavior from different aspects.There are many effective methods to cultivate altruistic behavior,such as empathy method,the model demonstration method,timely aggrandizement law and learning effective help skills etc.
