Abstract

Growth and slaughter performance of Anas platyrhnchos,Cherry valley duck and F1 progeny Anas platyrhnchos(♂)×Cherry valley duck(♀)were analyzed. The results showed that each-week-old F1 ducks were weightier than Anas platyrhnchos.F1 ducks of 1-4 weeks old had relative high relative growth rate.F1 ducks had an average percentage of dressed weight, eviscerated yield with giblet, eviscerated yield, breast and leg muscle of their parents(P0.05),but had a low percentage of sebum than average percentage of their parents.
