Abstract
Objective To study the effect between industrial noise exposure and health in automobile workers. Methods A cross-section study was used to investigate 706 workers exposed in industrial noise for one year or more. Cumulative noise was used to evaluate the actual exposure level of workers and carried out by using physical examination and measuring the industrial noise exposure level in workplace and experimental tests. Multiple Logistic regression models were used to analyze the relative influential factors in workers exposed to noise. Results The noise exposure can bring workers exposed industrial noise on hypertension and hearing loss and a typical dose-response relationship was observed between the working ages and CNE. Conclusion Noise exposure may be a risk factor of hearing loss and hypertension. Reducing the sound pressure level in workshops may be an effective measure to protect health of automobile corporation workers.
