Abstract
The effects of light,temperature,pH,oxidant,reductant,different metal ions,etc.on the stability of the blue pigment from streptomyces lividans were evaluated.The results showed that direct sunlight caused the pigment to bleach,and no significant change was observed in pigment solution when the temperature was lower than 60℃.The color of pigment solution presented red when pH was lower than 7,lavender when pH was 7,and blue when pH was higher than 7.Some inorganic ions(such as Na+,K+,Ca2+)and the reductant Na2SO3had little effect on the stability of the pigment,while the metal ions Fe3+,Cu2+,and the oxidant H2O2were able to destroy the stability of the blue pigment.
