Abstract
Based on the research on the relationship between information amount of the direction signs and the recognition and visual range,the paper according to the signs information got by the drivers and the process of implementing the driving operation,establishes the conditions for drivers to use the information delivered by the traffic signs,and points out the recommended standard of the direction signs location at the intersections of urban roads.
