Corrugated Composite Paperboard and Its Mechanical Properties

Abstract

Manufacturing technology and features of corrugated composite paperboard were introduced.According to mechanical properties of sandwich structue and corrugated paperboard,flatwise compression strength,edgewise compression strength,flexture strength,flexture stiffness,compression shear strength and puncture strength were tested.Relative properties of honeycomb paperboard were also tested and compared with corrugated composite paperboard.Research results can provide a scientific basis for the development and application of corrugated composite paperboard and its products.
