Abstract

The production technologies of ethanolamines including those developed by Science Design Inc.,US;Mitsui Toatsu,Japan;Dider,Germany;Sulzer,Swiss,and the process for production of lower concentration triethanolamine and mixed ethanolamine in China are reviewed.The global supply and demand of ethanolamines is also analyzed.It is suggested that the throughput of newly planned ethanolamine plant should reach 20,000 t/a and China's enterprises should devote major efforts to developing its downstream products.
