Clinical Analysis of 62 Cases with Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for Chronic Sinusitis

Objective To evaluate the endoscopic treatment of chronic sinusitis in patients with clinical efficacy.Methods The hospital in July 2008～August 2010 62 patients admitted to the clinical data of patients with chronic sinusitis,denoted by the treatment group,the use of endoscopic sinus surgery,62 patients were treated over the same period selected by the traditional external approach surgery nose information on the treatment of patients as the control group.Treated patients were followed up for 6 to 12 months,the clinical efficacy of two groups were compared.Results The 43 cases were markedly effective in 16 cases,3 cases,total effective rate 95.16%;control group,39 cases were markedly effective in 16 cases,7 cases,total effective rate 88.71%,difference between the two groups were effective statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Endoscopic surgery for chronic sinusitis effective,less complications,clinical results were satisfactory worth.
